While age has an impact on the ultrasound machine price, the main factors that affect the ultrasound scanner price are the options and applications of the system in question. But the condition may vary depending on age.

However, age is less important for refurbished systems, as they are brought up to date in the refurbishment process.

So then, when is the age of the ultrasound relevant?

Basically only when discussing used ultrasound machine price. At LBN Medical our used systems are typically 5 years old but of course, we have both newer and older ones. This will influence what the machine is capable of, and therefore, the price.

Entry Level Ultrasound Machine Price

The entry level ultrasound machine price range varies from 5.000 – 15.000 euros, depending on the condition of the systems. These are the cheapest ultrasound machines you can get on the used market.

These systems are great for basic needs and ideal for smaller private clinics. Among the entry level systems belong for instance the GE Logiq F9/P9, Samsung HS30, HS40, Philips ClearVue series, Siemens NX2/3 and the Canon Xario 100/200.

If you want a used entry level ultrasound, the price is typically 5.000 – 15.000 euros.

Why are the refurbished entry level ultrasound machines left blank in the matrix?

It is because these ultrasounds are rarely refurbished as it is not worth refurbishing a system that costs 15.000 – 25.000 euros when new.

Mid-Range Ultrasound Machine Price

The mid-range ultrasound machines are quality systems that at the same time have some good options.

Typically you would buy them for radiology and bigger private clinics.

What About Demo Systems?

Demo systems have not been sold to an end-user. Usually, the OEMs sell them after they have used them for trainings, trade fairs or similar. Therefore, these machines are not that common on the market.
